MGM+ debuts in Brazil and throughout Latin America this Monday (1st) . The streaming service arrives to replace Lionsgate+, the former Starzplay, which was discontinued in the country in November 2023.
It is available on the Prime Video platform and can be accessed for an additional monthly cost of R$14.90.
“We are excited to offer MGM's rich library of content to our subscribers in Latin America – from the popular TV series 'Handmaid's Tale', 'Stargate' and 'Teen Wolf' to the blockbuster film franchises 'Rocky', 'Child's Play' and 'Legally Blonde'”, said Michael Katzer, head of MGM+ International.
Among other successful productions, in addition to those mentioned above, which are from the Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer studio are: “Lia’s Spell” (1987), “Harry and Sally: Made for Each Other” (1989), “The Silence of the Lambs” (1991), “Twilight ” (2008) and “Hunger Games” (2012).
