Michael Douglas should not return to Marvel: “Living my life”

After being part of the three feature films of Marvel’s “Ant-Man” franchise, Michael Douglas revealed that he should not return so soon to the universe of superheroes.

In an interview with Deadline, The actor said he enjoyed his acting gap especially after a few seasons of “The Kominsky Method”. When asked to be asked about a possible return to Marvel, Douglas said it should not happen, at least for now.

“I don’t think so. I had had the experience and was excited to do. I had never made a green screen movie before. […] I’m enjoying my hiatus and enjoying life . It was exhaustive to run a producer and act at the same time! ”He said.

The characters of the Marvel Cinematographic Universe (MCU) will meet again in the coming “Avengers: Doomsday”. In all, 27 names were announced in the new movie of the Marvel Film Universe (MCU), including characters from the “X-Men” universe and veterans of the franchise. See the full list.

The film is scheduled to premiere for May 2026 . In addition to this movie, the studio has already announced a sequence, “Avengers: Secret Wars”, which is expected for May 2027.
