Michael J. Fox participated in an interview with American radio SiriusXM and revealed that he was surprised to watch “Back to the Future” after so many years.
The 80s classic takes Michael as the protagonist Marty McFly and, after 36 years without watching the film, Fox was moved to hear the theme song of the franchise, while setting up his Christmas tree.
“What happened was I walked into the room and I heard the clocks from the beginning of ‘Back to the Future’ from the scene in the garage. I hadn’t seen the movie since 1987. So I sat down and started watching, and about 20 minutes later, she [sua mulher] called me and I said, ‘I’m watching ‘Back to the Future,’” he recalled.
After being questioned by his wife about why he was watching the production that marked his career, the actor said with surprise: “Honey, I am very well in this film”, he said.
The actor has been married to Tracy Pollan since 1988, and in an autobiography called “Lucky Man” (Lucky Man), Michael revealed that he was diagnosed with Parkinson’s in 1991, but only made the disease public in 1998. In 2000, he created a foundation dedicated to Parkinson’s research.
