Michelle Obama: Megan Markle’s interview is heartbreaking

Michelle Obama described Megan’s memory for a comment made by a member of the British royal family about the possibility of her son being dark.

Megan and Prince Harry’s husband have accused an unnamed member of the royal family of expressing concern about the possibility that their son may not be white and courtly, of ignoring Megan’s calls for help when he was suicidal.

The couple’s interview on the Oprah Winfrey TV show has provoked The biggest crisis for the royal family since the death of Harry’s mother, Diana, in 1997.

Asked about the revelation by Megan of the comment on her son’s skin color, the Michelle Obama she told NBC News: “I feel sad that what she heard was that she felt it was her own family – her own family had a different view of her.”

“As I said before, race is not a new construct in this world for people of color, so it was no surprise to hear their feelings and to express them. I think what I hope for and what I think about is that this, above all, is a family. “I pray for forgiveness and redress for those who can use this as a lesson for all of us.”

Last Tuesday, Queen Elizabeth said members of the royal family were saddened by the difficult experience her grandson and wife had and pledged to investigate the racist comment about their son.

Harry’s older brother, Prince William, denied that members of the royal family were racists.
