Michelle Yeoh regrets cancellation of “Sun Brothers”: “Very difficult to understand”

Michelle Yeoh actress who stars “Sun Brothers” commented the Netflix series cancellation through social networks. Regretting what happened, she said it was “very difficult to understand” the reason for cancellation.

On her Instagram profile, Michelle Yeoh shared a series of records with the cast and crew from “Sun Brothers”.

“Heartbroken… and finding it very difficult to understand why… however, I am so proud of my 'Sun Brothers' family and what we have presented to the world. Head high”, wrote the actress in the caption of the publication.

The cancellation of “Irmãos Sun” was initially announced by the portal Deadline, who noted that the series was praised by critics, but failed to find a large audience

The production's eight episodes were directed by “Glee” and “American Horror Story” co-creator Brad Falchuk and newcomer Byron Wu. The cast, in addition to the Oscar-winning actress for “Best Actress” for her performance in “Everything in Every Place at the Same Time”, includes the Chinese Sam Song Li and North American of Asian descent Justin Chien .

In the plot, Charles Sun (Justin Chien) is a killer known as “Perna de Cadeira” who witnesses the murder of his father, the head of one of the most powerful gangs in Taipei, the capital of Taiwan.

He then travels to Los Angeles, in the United States, to protect his mother, Eileen (Michelle Yeoh), and his youngest brother, Bruce Sun (Sam Song Li), who is unaware of the family's connection to crime.
