Many users tried to check their PCs using PC Health Check and received the message “This PC cannot run Windows 11”, even for those models that meet all the system requirements.

Now Microsoft vice president Steve Dispensa said the company plans to improve the PC Health Check application to address these issues.

In addition to fixing incorrect messages about incompatibility, it is also expected to provide users with recommendations to ensure the compatibility of their PCs. For example, many devices have TPM disabled in the BIOS.

It also remains to be seen whether Microsoft will allow devices with TPM 1.2 or devices with Intel 7th Gen processors or older to upgrade to the new OS. Microsoft is not advising this yet. However, if the situation does not change, then it turns out that Microsoft allowed the deliberate fragmentation of the Windows platform.
