Microsoft began testing the integration in October, and now Twitch will appear in the Xbox Guide interface with webcam support for all users.

Twitch first appeared in the Xbox One Dashboard in 2014, allowing gamers to stream their gameplay to the Twitch platform.

Twitch streaming will now be in the Guide section and the user will need to link their Twitch account in order to access the streaming features. The use of headsets and a webcam is supported, you can control the volume of the sound in the game and from the microphone, turn on the sound from friends from the group chat, and manually set the resolution and bitrate of Twitch.

Twitch has been supporting Xbox streaming in its own app for quite some time now, but the direct integration with the Xbox Dashboard dropped when Microsoft removed the Snap feature in 2017.

Twitch integration will be available on all Xbox One, Xbox Series S, and Series X consoles starting today as part of a dashboard update.
