Software giant Microsoft has released a test update for Edge Dev and Canary. The test build of the Edge 100 proprietary browser received several new features.
New features in Microsoft Edge 100 include master password support. The fact is that by default, the Microsoft browser automatically fills in user data on sites, and earlier users could block automatic autofill or switch automatic login to login with a device password when the system asked the user for a device password before autofilling fields on sites. And now users have another option to confirm autofill – with a custom master password.
Another feature of the new test build of Microsoft’s proprietary browser is the thumbnail view of PDF documents, which should provide more convenient navigation. Support has also been added for the textprediction attribute, a custom text cursor on Windows devices, and a Read Aloud feature for Android devices. On top of that, Microsoft has implemented new APIs for developers and fixed a few crashes.
