Microsoft’s SwiftKey project will receive a big update in late 2021. One of the new features will be integration with the proprietary cloud clipboard.

In the fresh beta of SwiftKey, Microsoft is finally including support for a feature that lets you copy and paste text between any Android and Windows device.

The latest SwiftKey update allows you to sync your clipboard history through the cloud and access your content on any device. For example, you can copy something from a document or web page to your PC and paste it into an app on an Android phone that has SwiftKey installed.

Conversely, you can copy text on your smartphone and paste it into your document on your PC. To do this, you will need to enable clipboard data sync both in Windows 10 settings in the Clipboard section and in SwiftKey Beta on Android.

It remains to add that SwiftKey on Android has over 500 million downloads, so a large number of users will clearly be delighted with the new feature.
