Microsoft has announced a big Xbox update at the request of users

Microsoft has announced a major upcoming Xbox software update. It is noted that the March Xbox update will be available simultaneously with the start of sales of the Xbox Wireless headset, which the company announced in February 2021.

Microsoft emphasized that the update is based on user feedback. The update includes new features and enhancements to existing ones.

The release is scheduled for March 16th. This was done for a reason. The update will include a redesigned Xbox Accessories app for Xbox One, Xbox Series X and Series S, and Windows 10 PCs, in time for the Xbox Wireless headset. The update will allow audio adjustments including EQ, bass boost, auto mute sensitivity, mic usage tracking, and mute indicator brightness.

There will also be new settings for enabling and disabling FPS Boost and Auto HDR. Users will be able to select compatibility options as well as enable or disable Auto HDR and FPS Boost in the game settings menu.

Achievements are returning to the Xbox app. Users asked for this specifically. Microsoft plans to conduct testing for a limited number of users in March to present the result to the general public. The first update will include a list of achievements in the application, a screen with detailed information on them, and notifications for unlocking achievements. Additional updates are planned for popular features such as the Leaderboard in the coming months.

There will also be a new way to manage Xbox subscriptions. The function is located in the user profile settings. There you can track all the important information, including the date of the last and next payments, the expiration date of the subscription, information about the linked payment card, and much more.

In addition, Microsoft has warned that from May 2021, the TV program will disappear from OneGuide on Xbox One.
