Microsoft continues to talk about the innovations of Windows 11. The next one was the updated Paint – a video demonstrating its interface was posted on Twitter by Microsoft’s chief product officer Panos Panay.
The video teaser demonstrates working with brushes, fonts and a dark theme. The tools in such an application are much more convenient to use than in the current one. At least, more and more clearly. Apparently, even the most modern Paint does not support working with layers, but it is possible that this feature will appear in the application later.
Here’s another @Windows 11 first look. This is the beautifully redesigned Paint app, coming soon to Windows Insiders. Can’t wait to see your creations! #Windows11 #WindowsInsiders pic.twitter.com/jiKyfqQFUV

We will remind, earlier Microsoft was planning to remove Paint from Windows 10, but then changed its mind. Instead, the company began to remove Paint 3D from the OS, which, logically, was supposed to replace the original application. According to the top manager, members of the Windows Insiders program will be able to test the updated Paint “soon.”
