One of the world’s largest technology corporations is seeking a position that will “lay the groundwork to shape and support Microsoft’s Web 3.0 strategy.”
Microsoft says that the director of business development in the cryptocurrency department will be required to lead the team in accordance with the company’s “core tasks in the crypto industry.” The new employee will work on developing a roadmap for implementing Web 3.0 in Microsoft products, creating an infrastructure and an application programming interface (API).
The company expects that the applicant must have ten years of experience in the consulting, corporate or investment banking systems. He must understand the technologies and protocols associated with non-fungible tokens (NFT), decentralized autonomous organizations (DAO) and decentralized finance (DeFi).
“In this role, you will work closely with senior members of Microsoft’s business line and leverage our expertise to bring the company’s long-term initiatives to market,” the announcement reads.
Recall that in August last year, the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) issued a patent to Microsoft Technology Licensing to create a service that allows you to create and process tokens in distributed ledger networks.
