Microsoft has begun a new milestone in the distribution of its most recent version of the Windows 10 operating system.

In early June, Microsoft announced on the Windows 10 21H1 status page (May 2021 update) that it would automatically update some PCs to this version of the OS.
However, the process was very selective back then, as Microsoft had just begun to “train” machine learning systems to detect PCs with the correct versions of Windows 10. Now the automatic update process is entering a new phase and will be carried out in large quantities. Microsoft has increased the number of devices selected for automatic updates to Windows 10 21H1.
As noted by the developers at Microsoft, this process will stretch for several months for PCs with Windows 10 May 2020 Update (version 2004) installed, whose support should end in December 2021.
The May Windows 10 May 2021 Update, also codenamed 21H1, was the first major update to Windows 10 in 2021. The release took place on May 18 and at first the distribution was very slow.
