Microsoft has introduced a new version of the Xbox app for Windows, which is now available to members of the Xbox Insiders testing program.

The redesigned Xbox app now includes built-in Xbox Cloud Gaming (xCloud). The service works through the application in the same way as through the browser. The user will need a compatible controller connected via Bluetooth or USB.

A new Cloud Gaming section in the Xbox app gives you access to all xCloud games. Xbox spokesman Jason Beaumont said:
We’ve also added new features to help you get started, including easily accessible controller and network status information, social features to keep you connected with friends, and the ability to invite people – even those who also play in the cloud without installed games on PC”.
