Microsoft has released a fresh update for its new Windows 11 operating system. KB4023057 is the first update for Windows aimed at improving the reliability of the operating system. It aims to fix problems with installing updates.

If Windows 11 is unable to install cumulative and other updates on your PC, it could be due to software issues. Failed or incorrectly configured Windows Update settings can prevent you from getting the latest updates from Microsoft’s servers.
To address the issues with Windows Update, the company released the first reliability patch for Windows 11. Previously, KB4023057 was released for Windows 10, now it is available for Windows 11.
On the official Microsoft support page, KB4023057 is described as an “Update for Windows Update Service Components”. The update includes reliability improvements for Update Center in all supported versions of Windows, including version 1909, version 2004, version 21H1 and later.
The first Windows 11 Reliability Update is rolled out in stages and will automatically install on computers where updates are blocked due to software issues.
