Microsoft continues to improve its latest Windows 11 operating system. A major update with many big and small improvements will be available for Windows 11 as part of the Sun Valley Update 2 (version 22H2). As the release date approaches, Microsoft has begun hinting at what users might see in the fall.

So, during a webcast for participants in the Windows Insider program, the company showed a new “colorful” design of the Windows 11 Task Manager. The new Task Manager supports system color accents.

Currently, Windows allows you to customize the appearance of the operating system with color accents for many elements, such as the start menu, taskbar, window titles, and so on. However, if you select an accent color for the system, you will notice that it does not apply to items such as Task Manager. Apparently, this injustice will be corrected with the release of a major Windows 11 update in the fall.
