Microsoft has been offering a way to link Android smartphones to Windows 10 PCs for quite some time now. As PCs move to Windows 11, the company decided to update the app.
The Your Phone app has a new name – Phone Link – and offers a completely new interface that allows you to receive notifications in advance. In addition, the software giant has signed a partnership with Honor that will provide support for select devices from the independent smartphone brand.

Windows 11 makes it easy to connect smartphones by scanning a QR code that automatically starts downloading a pairing app on your phone. Until now, you had to download it manually through the Microsoft store. This app has also been given a new name, now called Link to Windows instead of Your Phone Companion.
Microsoft’s new operating system brought many design improvements, and the Phone Link app followed suit. There are more color palette controls, and the overall app looks and feels like Windows 11.

The partnership with Honor will make it easier to run phone apps and navigate on PC for Honor Magic V, Magic4, Magic4 Pro, Magic4 Ultimate and their Magic3, Magic3 Pro, Magic3 Pro+ predecessors.
