Update KB5001649 was the second attempt in the past week to solve problems with the cumulative March “Patch Tuesday” update, which brings the PC to the “Blue Screen of Death” when trying to print documents.

Unfortunately, the first patch did not solve the problems and even brought new oddities with printing. The second patch, numbered KB5001649, also turned out to be tricky.

After receiving negative feedback from users, Microsoft stopped distributing it without official announcements or explanations. Instead, update KB5001567 is available again – the first patch proposed for fatal errors with printers.
