One of the largest holders of Bitcoin, software development company MicroStrategy, bought another 155 BTC worth $5.3 million. This indicates an optimistic mood regarding the first cryptocurrency.

The purchase was announced on X (Twitter) by company co-founder and CEO Michael Saylor.

“In October, Microstrategy purchased an additional 155 BTC for $5.3 million and now owns 158,400 BTC,” the businessman said.

Since the end of the second quarter, the company has purchased 6,067 BTC for $167 million. On average, the company has purchased bitcoin for $27,531.

As of October 31, 2023, the company had total revenue of $129.5 million, up 3% year over year.

In September, MicroStrategy bought 5,445 BTC for $147.3 million. The investment showed a sharp increase in profits after the first cryptocurrency began to actively rise in price.
