Analytical software provider MicroStrategy additionally bought 328 BTC for ~ $ 15 million, CEO of the company Michael Saylor said.

The average purchase price was $ 45,710. In total, MicroStrategy owns 90,859 BTC, Sailor said.
Previously, the company closed a round of selling convertible senior bonds worth $ 1.05 billion for investments in the first cryptocurrency. A few days later, MicroStrategy announced that it had acquired an additional 19,452 BTC worth approximately $ 1.026 billion.
According to Bitcoin Treasuries, the analytics software developer owns 90,531 BTC at the time of writing.

In August 2020, the software developer bought 21,454 BTC for approximately $ 250 million and became the first public company to convert some of its free capital into Bitcoin.
In September, the company acquired another 16,796 BTC for $ 175 million, in December – 2,574 BTC for $ 50 million.
In the same month, the firm raised $ 650 million in debt financing for the Bitcoin investment through a convertible senior bond offering. The amount turned out to be $ 100 million higher than the target of the placement.
In January 2021, Sailor announced plans for MicroStrategy to explore new opportunities for investing in the first cryptocurrency.
