According to the job posting on LinkedIn, the manager will be based in the company’s New York office and will lead the team in planning and executing the annual Bitcoin for Corporations conference. In addition, the new employee must develop and implement marketing initiatives “for the global adoption of Bitcoin.”
The following requirements apply to the candidate:

over five years of experience in event management, marketing or related fields, preferably with a focus on Bitcoin, blockchain technology or financial services;

a deep understanding of cryptocurrencies, a passion for Bitcoin and a desire to bring its adoption closer to people around the world;

involvement in the global blockchain community.
At MicroStrategy, the new employee is expected to help create corporate educational initiatives related to cryptocurrencies, as well as create a center for interaction with the Bitcoin community in Washington.
Previously, the chairman of MicroStrategy, Michael Saylor, proposed that American banks issue bitcoin-backed dollar loans to clients.
