The British airline Easyjet announced today that it is suspending its flights “to and from Tel Aviv” while the world awaits Israel's response to the unprecedented attack launched against it by Iran on the night of Saturday to Sunday. “Due to the evolving situation in Israel, Easyjet has taken the decision to temporarily suspend its flights to and from Tel Aviv until April 21,” the airline said today in a statement sent to AFP. “The safety of our passengers and our crews is always Easyjet's absolute priority,” the company added, clarifying how it communicated via SMS and e-mail with customers on flights affected by these cancellations. Easyjet, as reported by APE-MPE, already canceled a flight from London Luton Airport to Tel Aviv yesterday, a press representative of the company told AFP.
