A fuel pipeline was hit
A fuel pipeline connecting the cities of Eilat and Ashkelon was hit by a rocket fired from Gaza, Channel 12 TV reported, as broadcast by APE-MPE.
An energy official confirmed to Reuters that the pipeline had been hit, without giving further details.
The footage broadcast by the canal shows flames rising from what looks like a large fuel tank near Ashkelon, south of Tel Aviv.
The operation of the Ashkelon power plant was not disrupted.
A Palestinian was killed by Israeli fire in the West Bank
One Palestinian was killed and another was injured tonight, by fire of Israeli soldiers, in the North West Bank, as it became known from a source of the Palestinian security services, against the background of the escalation of violence in Israel and the Palestinian Territories, according to the APE-MPE.
