Former England rugby player Mike, 44, finished fourth behind former Health Secretary Matt Hancock, Hollyoaks actor Owen Warner and Lioness of England Jill Scott, who was crowned Queen of the Jungle in the final on Sunday night.

The fellow campers spent three weeks together completing tasks in the Australian outback, thousands of miles away from their comforts and families. Princess Anne’s daughter Zara traveled to Australia to meet her husband when he was eliminated in the penultimate episode, appearing on TV to hug him in front of the cameras.

Proud husband Mike has shared a series of photos to celebrate their reunion, including a sweet selfie of him and Zara over breakfast. The couple were joined in Australia by their three children Mia, eight, Lena, four, and Lucas, 20 months, and took advantage of their family time by heading to a theme park for a day of fun.

Mike joined the royal family in 2011, just months after the wedding of the Prince and Princess of Wales, and has become a fan favorite thanks to his easy-going personality and willingness to try their hand at Bushtucker trials.

It also delighted royal viewers sharing fascinating stories on his time with the royals, including the reveal of the casual dress code for breakfast at Buckingham Palace.

Princess Anne’s son-in-law told his companions about I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here that he stayed in the palace and simply wore “jeans and a T-shirt” to breakfast. When Warner asked him if he had visited the London palace, he replied: “Often these are state rooms and there’s just a little bit of life. Yes, I stayed there.”

He added that he did not feel nervous about meeting Zara, his wife of 11 years, because he had met Princess Anne, patroness of Scottish Rugby, through the sport, and his cousins Prince William and Prince Harry were ” big” sports fans and had met the team on several occasions.

This is after Tindall shared the details of her first date with Zara: “First real date, we went out for lunch in the area. And it ended up being quite alcoholic. Then we realized that we both like to smoke weed. It was a good start,” he said.

Tindall was featured in that year’s Rugby Series Final, lifting the trophy for the England team. The top goalscorer of the tournament was Johnny Wilkinson, whose drop-kick try in extra time earned England the final against Australia 20-17.
