The actress Mila Kunis confirmed that she and her husband, Ashton Kutcher will not return for the second season of “That '90s Show” spin-off of “That '70s Show” — series in which the two met, when they were still young.
The actors who brought Michael Kelso (Ashton Kutcher) and Jackie (Mila Kunis) to life in the original series made an appearance to introduce their son in the new plot: Jay (Mace Coronel).
Asked by EntertainmentWeekly Whether she and Ashton Kutcher would be back for a second season of the spinoff, Mila Kunis said: “No. I mean, we’ve already done our part and featured our son on the show.”
In the spin-off, the story takes place in 1995, when Leia Forman (Callie Haverda), daughter of Eric Forman (Topher Grace) and Donna Pinciotti (Laura Prepon), leaves Chicago and goes to spend her summer vacation in small Point Place with grandparents, Kitty (Debra Jo Rupp) and Red (Kurtwood Smith). In her parents' city, Leia makes friends her age and meets the characters who marked the original series.
Despite all the success it had when it was shown between 1998 and 2006, the series “That '70s Show” is currently not available on any of the main streaming platforms in Brazil.
The first season of “That '90s Show” is available on Netflix. The second season does not yet have a confirmed premiere date.
