Milan celebrates Valerio Berruti: the inauguration of More Than Kids at Palazzo Reale

There is a thread that crosses every room of the royal palace and leads straight to a time we all know: childhood. It is the thread that binds More Than Kidsthe retrospective that traces twenty years of work of Valerio Berruti and that for the inauguration he brought guests to Milan as Antonio Marras, Malika Ayanethe commissioner Tommaso Sacchi, Stefano Seletti, Francesca Lavazza, Patrizia Sandretto Re Rebaudengo. The artist, together with the curator Nicolas Ballario, accompanied friends and colleagues among the twelve installations, telling the background and details of the works.

The exhibition, open until November 2, also presents the new video-animations Lilith (music of Rodrigo d’Erasmo, present at opening) e Look for silence (with Samuel of the Subsonica), together with other works that investigate themes such as welcome (A Safe Place), the collective memory (A new world, Aurora) and the ability to read the present with a less distracted look.
