A man convicted of murder, in whom he was allowed to work out of prison, ended today’s life by falling from Milan’s duo, having previously stabbed another employee, the local media broadcast. Emmanuel de Maria, 35, fell from a height of “tens of meters” jumping from the Gothic cathedral in the square below. The zone around the Duomo is busy but no one was injured by passers -by. De Maria had appeared on Italian television last year to describe what life is like in prison. Police have recognized him thanks to his tattoos, while his pocket was found, many sources reported, including the newspaper Corriere della Sera.
