The Lombard capital, from 15 to 21 Aprilbecomes the most coveted stage for designers, artists and brands but, at the centre, as always, there are also events and parties, which often involve the entire city (or almost).

DESIGN PRIDE + PARTY BY SAVE THE DUCK
The colorful and inclusive festival of creativity created by Seletti returns for its seventh edition with great news: starting from Piazza Affari and arriving at the Arco della Pace for the final party organized by the Main Partner Save The Duck. The entire Milan Design Week public will be able to join the journey, crossing the heart of the city and the 5VIE district. Also animating the street parade, with unexpected scenography and engaging performances, is project partner Sammontana and a special collaboration with Cinecittà .

FDW – FACTORY DESIGN WEEK

The square of Fabbrica del Vapore becomes the setting for a festival where music and design meet, a project conceived by DJ and producer Lele Sacchi and event producer Eric Galiani. Against the backdrop of a futuristic scenography designed for the occasion and an installation at the center of the scene The Circle by Real Media, a 360 degree circular LED screen, which will envelop the space in a vortex of lights and colours, with an immersive room inside and visual Arts imagined by Monogrid and digital artists including Gabriele Verga, Rich.4d, Franz Rosati, Ved.fourdimensional, Elia Pellegrini, Fabiola Sangineto, Lorenza Liguori, Lorenzo Venturini, DJs and international artists will alternate, with performances from the afternoon until midnight, followed by club nights in the Tempio del Futuro Perduto space.
Among the names worth mentioning Sama' Abdulhadi, the Palestinian DJ avant-garde electronic star, Francesco Del Garda, one of the most loved artists on the scene, Young Marco, one of the best Dutch deep house producers, as well as a series of vinyl-only DJ sets and daily showcases of the most interesting record labels on the scene independent.

THE GARDEN OF IDEAS AT VANITY FAIR\

Our Garden of Ideas it is the first laboratory exhibition on new responsible design. Unique experiences, creative workshops and cutting-edge installations to build the future together and discover that the most interesting innovations for tomorrow already exist. Under the arches of the cloister of the Diocesan Museum of Milan, Vanity Fair will involve the public to tell the best of the ideas and concrete actions to build a more sustainable future. A participatory experience, enriched by installations, creative workshops, provocations and aperitifs, which will liven up all the days of the Milan Design Week.

GARDEN, CITY

A project that aims to create a single system between the Casa degli Artisti, directed by five cultural associations, and the large garden it overlooks, sharing the mission of promoting the work, research, training and production of artists in different disciplines. With the desire to open this little hidden oasis – the Pippa Bacca Garden – to the neighborhood and the city, to take care of it together, with a “bottom-up” process. A dense program of tastings and experiences open to all is planned, where the secrets and taste of the raw materials will be revealed. A party that lasts 48 hours, a wonderful picnic with tales and stories that intersect the themes of design, food and the city. A concentration of insights in the name of conviviality and well-being.

The Visconti Pavilion opens its doors 1stthe exhibition with which IKEA participates in the design week, to host the most interesting proposals of the Milanese music scene. Tuesday 16Lorenzo Senni will be the protagonist of the threes production evening, in the company of RPM and Yes Reven, alternating his pointillistic trance to techno and electronic suggestions.
Wednesday 17, Burro Studio, with resident DJs Acidgigi and Riccardo BHI flanked by Bulma Brief, will give life to an evocative audio-video show with house, techno and R&B.
Thursday 18 Akeem, Southern Milan's vision of global black culture, arrives in via Tortona, with Marvely, Davide Dev, Miro and Erica Gal who will bring to life the ideal combination of rap, R&B, Afrobeat and hip-hop.
Friday 19th instead it will be the turn of Ciao! Discoteca Italiana and its DJs, for a revival on the notes of Italian disco-funk of the 70s and 80s.
Saturday 20th SLIPMODE, an all-female DJ crew that champions inclusive creativity, will take to the stage. With ninafterdark, Acideyes, Amazon, Miss Jay and Sukubratz at the console, the SLIPMODE DJ sets.

IED:THE GLITCH CAMP

The free urban camping, organized by the European Institute of Design, is ready to host hundreds of students from other international design schools. The Glitch Camp is not just camping but also the opportunity to live the full experience of the design community with planned activities. The days at the Camp will begin with group pilates and stretching lessons, alternating with moments of discussion with designers and guests. On Tuesday 16th and Thursday 18th – from 10.30 to 11.30 – the Glitch Breakfasts will be held, informal meetings organized by the architect. Davide Fabio Colaci with the aim of bringing the protagonists of the world of design into dialogue. For the Camp residents, the day finally ends with a night cinema, in collaboration with Il Cinemino, and with the screening of historical films linked to the city of Milan and its transformations.

HISENSE INNOVATION MARKET\

The coolest market in Milan will come to life with a series of special events, and then transform in the evening into an entertainment venue with show cooking and engaging DJ sets. A lively and dynamic meeting point that will reflect the energy of an authentic city market. The event will not only offer a wide range of activities related to the preparation of recipes that recall the spirit of Street Food, but also a series of exclusive moments designed to enrich the visitor experience, which will focus on two main themes: healthy nutrition and sustainability. Expert chefs and food bloggers will take turns at the stove and, for pizza lovers, the Pizza Show cannot be missed.
