Argentine President Javier Milei criticized President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva's (PT) statements regarding Israel's action in Gaza, in an interview with CNN shown this Sunday (31).
Asked by anchor Andrés Oppenheimer about his opinion regarding the position of Lula, Chilean President Gabriel Boric, and Colombian Gustavo Petro that Israel was committing genocide in Gaza, Milei said: “I don't agree. I do not agree. It seems reprehensible to me that there is this type of condemnation.”
The Argentine president also stated that the leaders mentioned by the anchor are socialists with “double standards”.
“If dictatorships are socialist, everything is fine. Dictatorship is bad. Be right-wing, left-wing, whatever you want. From above, from below, it's bad. Not for them, if they are the dictators, everything is fine”, said Milei.
