Miley Cyrus, Harrison Ford and more: check out the artists honored at D23

The last day of D23 a Disney fan event, took place on Sunday night (11) and paid tribute to celebrities such as “Disney Legends” . Names like Miley Cyrus , Harrison Ford, Jamie Lee Curtis and Angela Bassett are among those chosen as personalities who had “a significant impact” on the company’s legacy.

The actor Harrison Ford 82, was the first to receive the title. In addition to appearing in titles such as “Indiana Jones” and “Star Wars”, the actor is confirmed for “Captain America: Brave New World”, which is scheduled to premiere on February 13, 2025. “I love the life you have given me. No one does anything in this business alone. I have had the privilege of being a storyteller”, he said in his speech.

Miley Cyrus 31, the Hannah Montana actress became the youngest to receive the title and, in her speech, apologized for her “rebellious” period.

“Before I begin, I’m going to let you in on a little Disney legend secret. I’m the person who tells you what you shouldn’t know. And what I mean is that legends get scared too. I’m scared now, but the difference is that we do it anyway, and you all can do it every day. It’s legendary to be scared and do it anyway. There’s no failure when you try,” the singer said as she accepted the award. Read the full speech.

At a certain point during the ceremony, the artists responsible for giving voice to some of the princesses also joined together on stage to pay tribute to American animator Mark Henn. Watch:
