The plane on which Miley Cyrus was traveling was struck by lightning this Wednesday (23), the pop singer reported on social media. Despite the scare, the artist has already arrived in Brazil.
Miley was heading to Asunción, capital of Paraguay, to perform a show on her tour when the aircraft was struck by lightning during a storm and had to make an emergency landing at Guaraní International Airport.
On social media, the singer reassured fans by saying that the crew, band, friends and family who were traveling on the same aircraft are safe and well.
After the scare, Miley said that it was not possible to fly to Paraguay and, with that, the show in the country’s capital was cancelled.
Main attraction of Lollapalooza Brasil this Saturday (26), the artist arrived in Brazil at dawn on Wednesday, according to information from Paraguayan radio ABC Cardinal 730 AM and members of the artist’s team.
CNN Brasil, as of this writing, has not been able to contact Miley’s advisors to officially confirm the star’s arrival on Brazilian soil.
