On Friday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Japan announced that it would freeze the assets of an additional 25 Russians and ban exports to 81 Russian organizations, as part of sanctions for Russian invasion of Ukraine.
Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida has said that Japan will take steps to remove the most-favored-nation trade regime from Russia and prevent it from avoiding economic sanctions using digital resources.
