Military helicopter crashed in Turkey: nine dead, including a general – video

Today, March 4, a military helicopter crashed in Turkey. As a result, nine people on board were killed and four were injured. This is reported by the Turkish Ministry of Defense.

On the Twitter pages of the Turkish military, they write that the commander of the 8th corps, Lieutenant General Osman Erbash, was in the helicopter, he was killed.

As noted, a Cougar-type helicopter of the Turkish Land Forces command flew from Bingol to Tatvan, communication with it was interrupted at 14:25 – in a remote mountainous area.

A drone, a CN-235 aircraft and a helicopter were attracted for the search work.

According to preliminary data, the crash occurred as a result of an accident, the version of a terrorist attack is not being considered.
