A plane of the Polish Air Force crashed today at Gdynia-Kosakovo airport, in the northern tip of the country, killing the pilot. “The pilot of the M-346 Bielik, which crashed at the Gdynia-Kosakovo airport, was killed on the spot”, announced Lieutenant General Ireneus Novak, pointing out that “the pilot did not attempt to eject”. The M-346 aircraft crashed while the pilot was attempting risky maneuvers for a demonstration in which he was to participate. The moment of the crash was recorded in several videos that were made public through social networks. The M-346 suddenly loses altitude and crashes into the ground, causing a powerful explosion. According to the Air Force, the pilot was very experienced and had more than 2,000 flight hours, half of which were in this type of aircraft.
