The Military Police managed to arrest five militiamen this Friday afternoon (21), in Baixada Fluminense. The arrests took place after two groups of militiamen clashed in the region.
After the shooting, the Military Police carried out a tactical siege and noticed the movement of a car full of criminals in the Valdariosa neighborhood. They were approached and four militiamen were arrested. With them, the police seized:
- 1 556 caliber rifle;
- 3 pistols;
- 5 rifle magazines;
- 14 pistol magazines;
- 136 rifle ammunition;
- 139 pistol ammunition.
In addition to a ballistic vest, four vest covers, six black shirts, four cell phone devices and a ninja cap.
The police continued to search the region until they found another militia member at the Nova Iguaçu General Hospital, who was shot during the shooting in Queimados and had been admitted to the hospital.
According to the police, this criminal confirmed that he was with the other militiamen.
The case was registered at the 55th DP (Queimados), where the seized materials were presented.
According to the PM, policing has been reinforced in the region.
