Agents of the 2nd Military Police Battalion arrest of three members of the “pickup gang” in Botafogo, in the south of Rio de Janeiro, last Sunday (9). The group is accused of practicing vehicle theft and theft in the region.
According to the Military Police, one of the accused tried to steal a black pickup truck parked in front of a building but, in the middle of the action, was startled by the movement of the concierge. In an attempt to escape, the group was reached by the police.
The gang specializes in practicing robberies and thefts in Mitsubishi L200 pickup truck. The three arrested members have criminal records.
With them were seized materials for breaking down vehicles such as key coder, long -range remote control, hammer, metal lime and a 5g router.
The gang was arrested and sent to the 12th DP (Copacabana).
