Milton Nascimento will be honored at a show that brings together prominent names of the new MPB in São Paulo how Johnny Hooker, Analu Sampaio, Kell Smith, Lucas Mamede and Tuca Oliveira interpreting the songs of the consecrated musician.
The presentation, which bears the name of Renaissance, takes place on April 15, at 20h, at Blue Note São Paulo.
The repertoire will feature classics such as “crossing”, “meetings and farewells”, “Song of America” and more. Accompany the artists a trio led by Fi Marostica.
The show is part of the release actions of the album “Renaissance”, which brings Milton’s hits in the voice of new artists and will be released on April 15, as part of the resumption of the artist’s work after the release of the documentary “Milton Bituca Nascimento”, directed by Flávia Moraes.
A similar presentation, with other names in the new MPB, should take place at the Blue Note unit in Rio de Janeiro.
