Milton Nascimento turns 82 this Saturday (26) and received several tributes from artist friends who praised the Brazilian singer.
Considered one of the main names in Brazilian music, Milton has won a series of awards, including four Latin Grammys and a Grammy Award, having songs re-recorded by several artists in the industry such as Elis Regina, Gilberto Gil and Chico Buarque.
In recent years, the musician announced his retirement from the stage and, since then, has been sharing moments with his family and friends on social media.
For Carnival 2025, Milton will be honored by Portela. The Rio association will take the plot to Marquês de Sapucaí: “Singing will be looking for the path that leads in the sun – A tribute to Milton Nascimento” authored by André Rodrigues and Antônio Gonzaga.
