Milwaukee panic: Shots fired outside Bucks stadium, at least three injured

Chaos prevailed shortly before its finale Game 6 between the Milwaukee Bucks and the Boston Celtics. An unknown person opened fire near the Bucks stadium, in the “Deer District”, where thousands of people had gathered to watch the match and celebrate a possible qualification.

According to the police, a 29-year-old man has been arrested, while the injured have risen to three. The two were transported by ambulance, while the third managed to drive his car to the clinic. All of them are out of danger, while among the injured is a 16-year-old girl!

The “Deer District” was quite crowded, as many wanted to remember last year’s, tradition, where the area became a place of worship until winning the championship, while after a hard winter, the first hot days, brought even more people to the spot.

They estimate there were 11,000 people in the area, with security measures in place. According to initial estimates, the perpetrator used his weapon about one block away from the field. Witnesses say the first shots were fired a minute before the match.

However, the authorities are looking for the cause of the shootings, as testimonies speak of a quarrel that broke out in one of the bars in the area.
