Minas Gerais stands out in the Brazilian pavilion at Expo Dubai

Brazil continues to seek investments and expansion of trade at Expo Dubai. This week, Minas Gerais was highlighted in the event’s Brazilian pavilion. The state is represented by a group of 160 businessmen seeking investment opportunities in the United Arab Emirates.

There are several economic sectors from Minas Gerais participating in Expo Dubai, among them food, industry and civil construction. The governor of Minas Gerais, Romeu Zema, also participated in the activities.

The president of the Federation of Industries of the State of Minas Gerais (Fiemg), Flávio Roscoe, highlighted the importance of the actions carried out at the event by the federal and state governments, together with professional associations.

“These are experiences that will bring a new dynamic to the relationship between Brazil and the United Arab Emirates, and even the Middle East,” says Roscoe.

“I believe that within two years we can have a 30% increase in trade flow and even several investments by the UAE in Brazil and even by Brazilian companies here, as we already have Brazilian plants producing here,” he completes.
