Gigabyte has unveiled Brix mini PCs powered by new Intel Jasper Lake processors. This generation was introduced at the beginning of the year.

It’s important to know that Jasper Lake is Intel’s 10nm CPUs on the new Tremont architecture, which the company calls its most energy efficient architecture. These are “atomic” processors that should really be quite efficient with minimal power consumption.

As you can see, the new Pentium Silver N6005 is much faster than the Pentium Silver J5005, and it will be interesting to compare the new product with full-fledged mobile Intel Cores of previous generations.
Returning to the mini-PC, the manufacturer prepared three models at once: GB-BMCE-4500C on a dual-core Celeron N4500 with passive cooling, GB-BMC-5105 on a Celeron N5105 and GB-BMPD-6005 on a top Pentium Silver N6005. Third-party sources say that the younger model will appear in Europe at a price of 160 euros for a Barebone kit.
The dimensions of the novelty are only 112.6 x 119.4 x 46.8 mm (volume is about 0.67 liters). There is one RAM slot, 2.5-inch storage space, M.2 slot for SSD, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 4.2, HDMI 2.0b, DisplayPort 1.2b, USB 3.0 (x3), USB-C and RJ45.
