Minister Paulo de Tarso Sanseverino, of the Superior Electoral Court, ordered Twitter to remove negative electoral propaganda and disinformation posted by the Partido da Causa Operária (PCO) that associated candidate Simone Tebet with the death of indigenous people and children.
The minister analyzed a representation of the candidate against dissemination, on the Internet, of negative electoral propaganda and disinformation.
According to Sanseverino, advertising has the possibility of having an impact on the election.
For him, maintaining the disclosure of the attacked statements during the electoral period can, theoretically, have repercussions on his image as a candidate.
“The representative was able to demonstrate satisfactorily that the contested demonstrations are, in theory, capable of tarnishing her honor, as they blame her or associate her with the murders of Indians and children,” he said.
