Minister suspends action of mother of Gugu’s children and lawyer says decision is “strange reason”

the lawyer of Rose Miriam di Matteo mother of Gugu Liberato’s children, said that the minister’s decision Nancy Andrighi of the Superior Court of Justice (STJ), to suspend the action of recognition of stable union with the presenter filed by his client is “reason for strangeness and perplexity” and that he will appeal.

The decision responds to a request from the defense Thiago Salvatico a man who claims to have had a relationship with Gugu and also asks for recognition of a stable union.

Second Nelson Williams Rose’s lawyer, Sálvatico’s special appeal has not yet been submitted to the admissibility judgment.

“Despite this, the Minister granted a provisional guardianship suspending Rose Miriam’s Stable Union Recognition action, but did not suspend the inventory”, he said.

Salvático is appealing to the Court of Justice of São Paulo the decision that did not recognize a stable union between him and Gugu.

understand the case

Presenter Gugu Liberato died at age 60, in November 2019, the victim of an accident at home, in the United States. He fell and hit his head.

In the will, Gugu left 75% of the assets, estimated at R$ 1 billion, to his three children and the remaining 25% to his five nephews. The presenter’s sister, Aparecida Liberato, was defined as executor in case of the presenter’s death.

Since the presenter’s death, Rose has filed a lawsuit to recognize the stable union with Gugu. The Liberato family claims that he left a mansion and a sum of money to the mother of the three heirs. She denies having received it.

If Justice recognizes the stable union, Rose Miriam will be entitled to half of Gugu’s inheritance. The other 50% would be split between the couple’s three children.
