After participating, this Tuesday (29), in the 5th Pre-Salt Petroleum Technical Forum, which brought together leaders from the oil and gas sector in Rio de Janeiro, the Minister of Mines and Energy, Adolfo , spoke with journalists and spoke about the progress of the transition of government.
“The transition team talked to us, it was an excellent meeting, we exchanged ideas. I believe that’s it, the ministry is ready, it’s there to help and life goes on”.
During the interview, Adolfo Sachsida repeated a few times that past mistakes must not be committed again. And he highlighted “everyone knows what I referred to”.
The minister completed by saying what he expects from the new government. “Let’s give what’s working a chance. Better legal frameworks, more legal certainty, more competition and more private investment generating jobs and income”.
The Minister of Mines and Energy gave the opening speech at the event promoted by the Brazilian oil and natural gas management company. He cited actions carried out during the Bolsonaro government and highlighted the exploration of the Equatorial Margin which, according to Sachsida, needs to be made feasible.
“Guinea already explores the equatorial margin. If we give up this wealth, someone else will take it.
Isn’t it better, with great care, with all environmental respect, with the best legal frameworks in the world, to have oil exploration here in Brazil generating jobs, income, taxes so that we can increasingly strengthen public education and health? ?”
