The number of breeders who will receive 2% for the purchase of animal feed is expanding as it results from the amendment of the Joint Ministerial Decision of the Ministers of Rural Development & Food, George Georgantas, Deputy Minister of Finance, Theodoros Skylakakis, and the Deputy Minister of Finance, Apostolos April of this year.
Specifically, natural persons, professional farmers, who will be registered in the Register of Farmers and Agricultural Holdings until June 30, 2022 – and not December 31, 2021 as provided for in the original decision – are given the opportunity to receive the planned aid of 2%, provided they meet the relevant conditions.
According to an announcement by the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure, the calculation of the aid for new entrants is also modified, ie those who started in 2021, in order for 2% to be calculated on their expenses and not on their incomes set by the original decision.
