Ministry of Health analyzes 86 medicines with “market deficiency”

The Ministry of Health analyzes a list of 86 drugs that face “deficiency in the market”, according to a press conference this Friday afternoon (22).

“Conasems collaborated with us and sent a list of 126 medicines, in addition to other lists that we are also receiving from societies, associations, to support us, to really be able to help us and show what is most deficient in the market. Among this list, hitting all the lists, comparing, out of 126 we conclude 86 medications”, explained theSecretary for Science, Technology, Innovation and Strategic Affairs at the Ministry of Health, Sandra de Castro Barros.

The folder also informed that the stocks of iodinated contrast should be replenished at the end of September this year. On the 13th, the ministry published a guideline for the use of iodinated contrast for medical examinations and procedures to be rationalized “until the supply of the input is normalized”.
