The Ministry of Mines and Energy released this Thursday (9) the list of nominees to compose the board of directors of Petrobras. The Union is the controlling shareholder.
The list confirms the appointment of Caio Mario Paes de Andrade for the presidency of the company.
The name indicated for the presidency of the council is Gileno Gurjão Barreto.
Barreto is currently the CEO of Serpro, a federal government information technology company. He replaced Paes de Andrade in the post, when he was appointed special secretary for the reduction of bureaucracy at the Ministry of Economy.
Ricardo Soriano de Alencar, Edison Antonio Costa Britto Garcia, Jonathas Assunção Salvador Nery de Castro and Ieda Aparecida de Moura Gagni also make up the list.
The government also kept the names of Ruy Schneider and Márcio Weber, who are now part of the council. Weber is the current chairman of the collegiate. However, it is unlikely that they will be elected.
