The Ministry of Rural Development and Food proceeded with the issuance of two calls for Action 10.1.04 “Reduction of water pollution from agricultural activity”, with a total budget of 150 million euros.
According to the announcement of the ministry, the invitations concern:
Commitments A “Fallow Implementation” and B “Rotation Implementation” for arable land, with a budget of 120 million euros.
– Commitment C “Application of green manure to tree crops” with a budget of 30 million euros.
Those interested can submit their applications exclusively through the Information System (IS) from Monday, March 14 to Friday, April 15.
The duration of the commitments is two years, 2022-2023 and their implementation starts from the date of publication of the Invitations, as there was a pre-publication of the Invitation on 06.10.2021.
The Action is applied in 30 areas of the country, which have been designated as Zones Vulnerable to Nitrate Pollution of Agricultural Origin (ZEN), as well as in 7 areas of important wetlands.
