Mioo: fashion becomes NFT

The fashion world is ready to conquer the Metaverse. Thanks to MYOa company founded by Niccolò Mion, CEO of MION Spa, and Etan Genini, CEO and co-founder of Valuart, it is now possible to buy an item of clothing and have, thanks to the smart label, his NFT (Non-Fungible Token) in a few clicks.

An operation, this one, aimed at making the clothing of the main fashion brands of the “Metaverse Interactive Objects”, none other than sustainable, collectible and salable digital objects precisely in the Metaverse. All thanks to a collaterisation protocol.

MIOO industrializes the process of creating an NFT for each item of clothing sold by a brand, thus collateralising its existence in the Metaverse through the interaction between woven labels and blockchain technology. In this way MIOO allows, thanks to the use of the blockchain Hedera, to connect the item purchased to an NFT through the label sewn onto the product. Each purchase will bring with it, in addition to a “digital passport” which certifies its authenticity and origin, also a creative asset capable of representing the garment in full compliance with the values of the brand.

«For over 50 years MION Spa has been on the frontier of innovation and we are happy to bring the self-reliance and solidity of our world-renowned company at the service of fashion brands wishing to approach the world of NFTs and the Metaverse “ he claims Niccolò Mion, Co-Founder of MIOO and CEO of MION Spa. «Thanks to the application of certified blockchain technology on labels we can now give a multitude of garments uniqueness, tracking and added value, both for the final consumer and for the brands that will collaborate with us. What used to be a promise of authenticity by the brands is now a blockchain certification, with the possibility for the final consumer to have a garment in NFT and for all the brands present on the protocol to have complete vision on all the steps of the supply chain. from the creation of the garment to post-purchase customer engagement “.

“With MIOO we want to anticipate a request that will become a concrete need for all brands in the short term: to be present in a virtual space with your NFT products” he declares Etan Genini, Co-Founder of MIOO. «We will change the shopping experience in store and online allowing fashion brands to have all the items they want in NFT and to enter, but above all to stay in contact with their buyer. Customer Engagement will be increasingly tailor-made on the buyer: in the virtual space dedicated to him, brands will be able to offer products related to his NFT and dedicated marketing activities and communications on new activities such as events, new store openings and much more ».
