Huawei has announced the launch of the Mir Pay payment system in the AppGallery online store. Thus, Mir Pay becomes available for Huawei smartphones that do not have Google apps and services installed.

As the manufacturer explains, the Mir Pay application based on HMS services allows you to use your smartphone for contactless payments with the cards of the Russian payment system Mir — in stores, on the Internet or on public transport.

It is noted that the Mir Pay application allows you to make purchases even without an Internet connection. To do this, unique payment keys are reserved in the encrypted storage on the smartphone, allowing multiple payments to be made without connecting to the network.
To pay, it is enough to unlock the smartphone and bring it to the terminal with support for contactless payments. In some cases, additional verification will be required to confirm the payment: using a PIN code, a fingerprint scanner or face recognition. To pay for purchases up to 1,000 rubles, it is not necessary to unlock the device, you just need to activate the smartphone screen.
